Our Workplace

Therapy Matters has a proud history of supporting staff to seek employment that meets with their needs. Over the years we have assisted staff from a range of backgrounds to achieve job satisfaction and a suitable work-life balance within a family-friendly workplace.

Our speech pathologists have included: new graduate clinicians in a dedicated new graduate position, staff returning from short and long term maternity leave periods, breast feeding staff, staff wishing to expand their clinic skills into new areas, staff returning to work after periods of study leave and staff wishing to combine private practice work with other part-time positions.

Our leadership team (Director, Senior Speech Pathologists and Office Manager) work extremely hard to ensure that our staff lead fulfilled, balanced and happy lives. We dedicate ourselves to the establishment of a centre for clinical excellence and centre that leads the way in employment excellence and care towards our staff.

Our ClientsOur Clients

Therapy Matters is predominantly a paediatric private practice although we do also provide services to adults with disabilities who have complex communication needs. Our caseload covers a range of communication disorders from:

  • infants with feeding difficulties,
  • late talking toddlers,
  • children and adolescents with speech and language difficulties,
  • primary and high school students with literacy and other learning difficulties and
  • children with disabilities
  • adults with disabilities and complex communication needs

Services are provided at the clinic, in local schools and through initiatives such as:
