Jennifer Allum - Speech Pathologist B Sp Path (Hons), MSPA, CPSP

Jennifer comes to Therapy Matters as a talented new graduate clinician with a distinguished academic record. During her university degree she completed an Honours Thesis based on research that explored speech pathologists’ emotional and behavioural responses to AAC rejection and abandonment (AAC is Augmentative and Alternative Communication) as well as how speech pathologists remained family-centred in their services during this time. Through this research, Jennifer gained an interest in working with clients with disabilities and developed a passionate dedication to client and family centred care.  Jennifer is excited about applying her knowledge and skills to a varied caseload at Therapy Matters. Jennifer is a thoughtful, diligent, fun and ethical speech pathologist with a commitment to evidence based practice. Jennifer works at our West Burleigh Clinic on Mondays (Fortnightly), Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. She also provides a services to Mt St Patrick's Primary School (Murwillumbah) and Uki Public School on Tuesdays.
