WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE TOY?

Monkeys (and tutus) were a childhood favourite of mine – playful, curious, cheeky, and full of fun!

Monkeys a perfect fit for speech therapy as their playful and engaging nature makes them ideal for capturing a child’s attention and sparking their imagination. The phrase, “monkey see, monkey do”, reflects the importance of modelling and imitation in speech therapy, where children develop speech and language skills by modelling sounds, words, and gestures to build communication skills in a fun, interactive way.

Like a curious monkey exploring its world, speech therapy encourages exploration, growth, and confidence in communication. No matter how tricky the journey, there’s always room for fun, learning, and a few playful moments along the way!
