Jenelle is an effervescent, diligent speech pathologist and Gold Coast local who has worked in exclusively at Therapy Matters in the paediatric field since graduating. Jenelle brings enthusiasm, dedication and a wealth of contemporary knowledge to her role as a speech pathologist. Jenelle is a kind, caring and engaging therapist who is committed to building strong relationships with the children and parents that she works with. In addition to her work as a speech pathologist, Jenelle is also a professional singer/songwriter who has previously been a voice and performance teacher.

Jenelle has clinical interests in supporting preschool and school aged children with speech, language and literacy difficulties. She particular enjoys partnering with parents and teachers to make a difference in the lives of the children that she works with.

Jenelle works at St Joseph’s Primary School (Tweed) on Thursdays, and is at our West Burleigh Clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

“I had to pick the fishing game because it used to be my nephew’s favourite game and he always requested that we played with it when ever he came to visit me. I see that same fascination, joy, and challenge in the eyes of the children I see in the clinic – it is a great game of skill, excitement and laughs. I also love this game because it provides so many flexible opportunities to engage in speech and language skills such as vocabulary e.g., colours, concepts ‘less, more, empty, full’; grammar ‘fishing, caught’, eye-hand coordination, fine motor control – the list goes on! “
