These school holidays, we want to take our COINS sessions further by crafting full-day experiences in the community. Getting children together in our local community in a supported, neurodiverse affirming manner to achieve their goals together with others in the real-world.
We’ve listened to you SO we are offering some full-day experiences where your child can achieve their goals in a real-life setting with others! Your therapist will plan together with you and our therapy assistants a way to achieve their own goals in each COINS experience.
These programs will be delivered by 1-2 of our talented therapy assistants (depending upon group numbers) with a speech pathology supervisor in attendance (if indicated by client need or requested by parent or treating therapist).They will run from 9am-4pm each day with the option for additional supervision between 8-9am and 4-5pm (at an additional cost) if required by families. Various dates are available over the school holidays, please register your interest. We will then carefully match children in groups together with COINS experiences and days and dates.
What will happen in Build It! A Brick Club Hangout Day
Instruction Build as a team in the morning
Walk to Schusters Park for Lunch and Play (weather dependent)
Creative Build, Movement Games & Lego Themed Youtube sharing
Opportunity to communicate in a group setting, build friendships with other passionate Lego Builders, develop teamwork skills and embrace strengths and self-advocacy skills.
BYO snacks & lunch for a meal break
