B Sp Path

Lillie has been a valued member of our Therapy Matters team for three years already, having worked with us as a therapy assistant before transitioning to a position as a speech pathologist upon completion of her degree. Lillie is a talented, grounded and insightful therapist who will be supporting clients across both of our clinics, as well as within schools in Kingscliff and Murwillumbah.

Her pathway into speech pathology is rich and diverse. Lillie studied at Southern Cross University and brings with her experience from a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language, and time spent overseas as an Au Pair and ESL teacher. These experiences have shaped her warm, flexible and child-centred approach to therapy.

Lillie is known for being engaging, enthusiastic and deeply caring, and she takes great joy in seeing children grow, gain confidence and flourish. We are incredibly proud to have supported her journey and thrilled to now welcome her as a qualified member of our speech pathology team.

Lillie became a qualified speech pathologist in 2025.

Lillie has completed further training in:

  • Key Word Sign
  • LEGO Brick-Based Therapy

  • Sounds Write

Lillie will work at our Burleigh clinic on Mondays (fortnightly), Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and at our Murwillumbah clinic on Wednesdays.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE TOY?

“Some of my favourite childhood memories are of playing ‘dolls’ with my younger sister.

Playing with dolls allowed me to explore my creativity and imagination by inventing different storylines and customizing hairstyles and outfits. It also allowed me to develop my social skills when I had to negotiate and communicate in order to make the game flow.

Using dolls in therapy is a wonderful way to encourage children to interact with others and practice interpersonal skills, such as turn-taking, sharing, and empathy, whilst utilizing new words and phrases in a fun and safe environment.”
