What’s your favourite toy?

All toys related to the Very Hungry Caterpillar are my personal favourite. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a beloved book that most adults and children are familiar with. It is a classic piece of literature that many enjoy reading. Incorporating this colourful creature in therapy sessions makes the book come to life, which is highly engaging for children.

Having the ability to act out scenes from the story with a toy caterpillar or create caterpillar crafts makes storytelling fun! The story can be used to target days of the week, plurals, vocabulary, conjunctions, story-telling and so much more.

“The Very Hungry Caterpillar story is about hope. You, like the caterpillar, will grow up, unfold your wings, and fly off into the future.” – Eric Carle
